web video help needed

Whats up everyone
I'm not sure this is the right place for my question but there it is anyway:
I'm creating my first web site and I want to publish some videos in it. The problem is that I'm a complete noob with web site building and I dont have a clue in html php or whatever script language... I tried to find something in google but everything is either too complicated for me to understand or requires a lot of investment ... so does anybody knows a free or at least inexpensive source of information about web video?
