Price Range

I was wondering whether anyone could please give me an idea of what price range I am looking at to buy one new and then a second hand one as well.

If you've read any of my other posts you will probably see that my husband and I are going through the process of buying a hummer, just need a little help.

I pulled up some information for your to browse through.

For the H3
The H3 is HUMMER's new midsize SUV and the third model in the vehicle lineup. Based on the Chevrolet Colorado pickup platform, the H3 is designed to deliver authentic HUMMER style and off-road capability in a smaller, more fuel-efficient package.

The HUMMER H3 is powered by a 220-horsepower Vortec 3500 3.5-liter inline 5-cylinder engine with dual overhead cams and variable valve timing, combined with either a 5-speed manual or an automatic transmission. For off-road capability, the H3 features an electronically controlled four-wheel-drive system combined with features such as a fully locking rear differential, traction control, underbody shielding and GM's StabiliTrak vehicle stability enhancement system.
The (MSRP) is $28,935 that would be the bare bones model

For the H2
The HUMMER H3 is powered by a 220-horsepower Vortec 3500 3.5-liter inline 5-cylinder engine with dual overhead cams and variable valve timing, combined with either a 5-speed manual or an automatic transmission. For off-road capability, the H3 features an electronically controlled four-wheel-drive system combined with features such as a fully locking rear differential, traction control, underbody shielding and GM's StabiliTrak vehicle stability enhancement system.

The Base Retail price (MSRP) is $52,430

Seems quite reasonable actually. They are actually a lot less then I was expecting, but I suppose the price of petrol is going to be much greater than the average car.

Yes the prices are in US $$. I was surprised by the H3 base price as well...I would have thought the prices would be higher because of the newer model. But infact more metal and other materials go into the H2 so that is why the H2 costs alot more than the H3.

That isn't as much as I thought it would be. My husband will be happy to hear me say that so I better not say it too loud.
