H1 Questions

Hi all. New to the forum

I'm thinking seriously about getting a used H1 (98 or 99) and have a couple of questions.

What kind of fuel mileage have people been getting?

Are there any cronic problems people have been having with the H1?

What kind of things should I be looking for in the vehicle? I know the ones I beat up and abused in the Marines were pretty bulletproof.
