MS Office

My question is office worth the money that they are charging at the moment. Personally I think that it is seriously over priced. At the moment it will set you back something in the region of £300. It is really worth paying that much when there are cheaper alternatives.

im actualy not sure, i have office 2003 and it has lots of extras, but im not sure whether its worth it

I love MS Office. Personally I don't know what I would do without it. However if you want a cheaper alternative I think that you should try MS Works.

thanks for all your help guys. I've actually ordered MS office from amazon now. I was speaking to a couple of mates that I know in IT and they think that it is well worth the money.

If you are running a big office with lots of serious word procesing chores, maybe MS office is the thing for you. But if you just use it for writing reports and like stuff, try openoffice first. I ditched my MSoffice for it.
